This document describes the Lat49 Client API (Application Programming Interface). Through the API, a web map publisher can display ads that are associated with geographic locations and map scales (i.e. zoom levels).
Besides this introductory chapter, the document contains three main parts: the Quick Start (Chapter 3) that demonstrates the basic steps for displaying an ad in a static HTML page, the API reference (Chapter 4) which describes the Lat49 classes, methods and objects in detail, and a brief tutorial on displaying ads dynamically within a Google Maps application (Chapter 5).
